Restaurant Bubur Goreng

This restaurant was just on our door step in Klang and never had a chance to try it until today. It's helmed as one of the trademark Taman Berkeley has to offer for a unique porridge experience.

Bubur Goreng

The star of the night was obviously their Bubur Goreng which I think if you take it literally it means "Fried Porridge". Basically all the ingredients are fried together with the boiled porridge to create the taste of goodness. Wait theres more....they garnish it with pork lard and Yau Char Kwai! The porridge itself is super tasty and with so much flavour. Unlike the usual ones that we normally have. Definitely a must try for first timers!

Rojak Sotong

We saw alot of people ordering their rojak and so we did. Its a chinese style rojak with the black sweet spicy sauce. Definitely get it as an appetiser while waiting for your mains to come.

Steamed Lala

Next up was their steamed seong tong lala. If I were to compare this with the famous ones at Boston Baru then it will be unfair. But for its taste and for a restaurant that specialises in Bubur Goreng, this was definitely up to my standards! Thumbs up!

Steamed Mantis Prawn

We normally order the deep fried kung po mantis prawns when it comes to this dish, but I thought I give the steamed ones a try. I have to say its really delicious with flavour as you can taste the sweetness of the prawns obviously compared to the deep fried ones. Only one thing I didn't like about it was the challenging experience to peel the darn thing!
