One of the local haunts for many of the residents living around Taman Paramount PJ area. We ordered a few of their signature dishes and it did not fail to impress.

Their cheese mayo prawns were my favourite but can definitely do with lesser mayo! that is if you are on the healthy side. They were gone within seconds I kid you not!

Yap Chuan BKT @ Bandar Baru Klang

With so many Bak Kut Teh restaurants around Klang, one can never manage to try them all. I managed to try this new one out which has the name that resembles the one in Puchong. Yap Chuan is popular for their dry BKT and of course when you are here you definitely had to try it out.

Overall I have to say they make a really good dry BKT compared to most around Klang. Their soup based are not as rich in flavor. But I guess we can't compare apples with apples. Definitely worth a try if you are around this area and craving for dry BKT.

Loh Sang 

Cold Crab - This was one of their signature dish and it did not fail to disappoint.

Prawn Roll - The prawn roll had real 'proper' prawns inside. Skin was crispy and its totally different from most of what you get elsewhere.

Crispy fried Chicken and Duck - The duck was really good eventhough it was a tad bit dry. The chicken was average and could be improve

Fu Zhou Noodles - One of their signature dishes here. The noodles and was al dante and the dish still had the wok aroma which makes you savour every bite. Very well done and with crispy pork lard to top it off at the end. =)

Cicchetti

It was one of those nights that we needed to do a double date night and what more to celebrate it in a nice slick Italian joint. This place was a hidden gem and we were fortunate enough to get a booking in to accommodate us. We were sat right next to the woodfired oven but I guess it has it perks as we could smell the whiff of all the good dishes and pizza coming out from there! :)

Roasted Pear rocket salad

Spaghetti Vongole - signature NZ clams spaghetti

Overall the food here is great and my favourite has to be the squid ink tagliatelle. Definitely will be back here real soon! ;)

Bistecca

It was our 7th wedding anniversary and where else would we have best celebrated it. At Bistecca of course! We decided to visit this place after many recommendations from our foodie mates so we decided to try it for ourselves.

Grill Octopus with rockets - The octopus was a tad bit tough and chewy but the seasoning was well balanced

Pan fried Scallops - This was a delight to eat as it was to look at. It definitely tasted how it looks "Perfect!"

Constata - Bone in Rib Eye (MBS 6)

It was cooked perfectly how I like it which is medium rare. Crusty and charred on the outside and tender in the inside. Although it was slightly fatty but that is the magic of the rib eye cut. Nice marbling and cooked well. 

Semifredo dessert - A great way to end the night with some sweet memories. Although I normally prefer a Tiramisu in an Italian restaurant but this was a great replacement! :)

Gyu Kaku

Came here today for one of our friend's birthday celebration. Knowing they are foodies themselves, there are nothing short on ending the night with great food and company!

Like their motto of Gyu Kaku says- Their goal is to deliver happiness through their food and dining experiences. Exactly what it said and it hit the nail on the spot. As you walk in their outlet you immediately feel hungry because you can smell what the other table is cooking. There are so many things you can order from their menu and of course it comes with a price! So we had to be tactical! haha

Charcoal fire before the carnage

Lovely balance of greens to start before you feast on the beast.

Beef tongue - very smooth texture if you cook it right. DO NOT overcook as it will become to chewy

Prime short ribs - One of my favs as it was really smooth and marbling was nice from what you can tell in the pic

On it goes onto the fire and into our belly....

Wagyu Platter - Just writing about this and looking at this pic is making me hungry again. I need not describe more from what you can see how Wagyu would taste or look like. My guess you are probably hungry as well looking at the pic of this platter....haha (Marbling on the meat was awesome that makes every bite melts in your mouth)

Again, its on to the fire and into our belly....

Wagyu Rump - This was so tender and juicy we had to order additional as we could not get enough of this wagyu rump. Although its the rump, it was so well marbled we literally swallowed it before chewing the meat!
